We leave room in our schedules every day to accommodate emergency appointments should they happen and need our attention.

If you work around or regularly handle chemicals, you run a higher risk of exposing your eyes to harmful substances or fumes. If you get chemicals in your eye, rinse it with cool, clean water immediately and flush for at least 15 minutes. After flushing, visit us or go to your nearest emergency room.
If you get something in your eye, the experience can range from uncomfortable to extremely painful, depending on what it is. For small objects like dust or sand, you should be able to remove it on your own with excessive blinking, artificial tears, or flushing your eye with cool, clear water.
If you get something large stuck in your eye, do not try to remove it yourself. Try not to move your eye and call 911.
